The Winnipeg West Rotary Club recently donated $1,000 to the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba in recognition of the Willy Dog’s Soko Burger Campaign.
Willy Dogs — owned by Will and Courtney Gault — operates hot dog carts in the spring and summer and is also the food service providers at the Deer Lodge Curling Club in the winter. Each month, $3 per Soko Burger sold is donated to a different charity. The Children’s Hospital Foundation was the designated charity for February.
“The club wanted to recognize the Gaults’ success and charitable endeavours with a donation to their Children’s Hospital of Manitoba-Soko Burger campaign,” said club board member Kelly Ryback, in a release. “The campaign aligns with a few of the club’s directives to support youth and health initiatives.”
