A Seussified Christmas Carol runs Dec. 13

On Saturday, Dec. 13, the Dramatic Theatre Company will present A Seussified Christmas Carol at the Crescent Arts Centre (525 Wardlaw Ave.).

Proceeds from the performance, which promises “a whimsical reinvention of Dickens’ most beloved Christmas story in wacky rhymed couplets,” will benefit the Never Alone Cancer Foundation.

Featuring the local talents of Luke Friesen, Rich Smith, Laurie Fischer, Parker McElroy, Duncan Storozuk, Sky Militere, Rox Picton, Patrick Ham, James Ham, KB Greenhill, Saraya Clayton, Ella Wiebe, and Alana Penner, the play is directed by Fischer, Penner, and Justin Joseph, with music direction by Phil Picton.

Tickets to the show, which starts at 7:30 p.m., are $15 and available at dramatictheatre.net or by calling 204-452-1700.
