Roblin Park C.C. family fun night scheduled for Feb. 28
Saddle up! Roblin Park Community Centre (640 Pepperloaf Cres.) will be hosting a family fun night on Saturday, Feb. 28, starting at 3 p.m.
KB Clydesdales will be offering free horse-drawn sleigh rides from 3 to 6 p.m. Afterwards, participants will be welcome to purchase food at the centre’s canteen and enjoy its family skate night.

Registration has begun across Winnipeg for outdoor soccer, baseball and softball. Check with your local community centres.
Spring sports registration open
Registration for youth soccer, baseball, and softball is now open across Winnipeg.
Caregivers should register their children through their local community centres for the appropriate age and level of play available within their catchment areas. Cost and commitments range depending on age and level of play.
Each outdoor season typically begins once playing fields are dry, usually by the end of April or first week of May, and run through the end of June, or, in some cases, into early July.
Applications for Folklorama scholarships now open
Local youth are invited to apply for the 2026 Mark and Dorothy Danzker Scholarship for Excellence.
In partnership with the Jewish Foundation of Manitoba, Folklorama has announced application details about the annual award, which recognizes ethno-cultural heritage preservation. It consists of eight post-secondary scholarships of $1,000, which will be announced in September.
