Making a splash into summer

Monsters of the Abyss, this season’s summertime attraction at Assiniboine Park Zoo, features live reptiles, amphibians, and fossils in a walk-through experience that dives into pre-historic and modern-day aquatic predators. You will meet Pumpkin the snake, visit two friendly diamondback terrapins swimming around, or see the long tail of a caiman lizard. With a mix of educational written blurbs, fossils you can touch, and animals you can see, it’ll make for a fun indoor escape from the hot summer sun at the Zoo. Monsters of the Abyss opened May 15 and will run through September long weekend.
