Linden Woods farmers’ market to run until fall
There’s plenty of time to enjoy this year’s Linden Woods farmers’ market.
According to lindenwoodscc.com, the market will be held in the front parking lot of Linden Woods Community Centre (414 Lindenwood Dr. W) throughout July, August and September on Thursdays from 3 to 6:30 p.m.
As well, there will be a fall harvest festival on Sunday, Sept. 20 between noon and 4 p.m.
Grace Hospital Foundation collecting books for September sale
The Grace Hospital Foundation will hold its really book sale later this summer, and organizers are inviting donations.
The event will be held in the hospital’s Jeffrey A. Coleman Auditorium (408 Booth Dr.) on Friday, Sept. 18 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
According to the foundation’s website, people can donate books, games, puzzles, CDs, DVDs, and vinyl records, which can be placed in the dropbox located inside the “admitting” entrance at the west side of the hospital towards Sturgeon Road.
Visitors to the September sale are asked to bring their own bags.
