Golf tournament raises money for charity

On July 18, 60 golfers came out to golf at Kildonan Golf Course in the seventh annual fundraising tournament organized by the Fi-Can Cabletow Lodge No. 189 of the Grand Lodge of Manitoba Masons.
After a cloudy but fun day the awards ceremony and dinner was held at La Merage and the following people were honoured:
• Division A champion — Randy Viray; first runner up — Aldrin Ferrer; second runner up —Philip Intac.
• Division B champion —Noel Marana; first runner up, Desmond Kowalenco; second runner up — Joey Licmo.
• Division C champion —Pete Sangalang; first runner up — Brad Lillie; second runner up —Del Voluntad.

Fil-Can Cabletow Lodge No. 189 worshipful master Arnel Lee led the tournament organizing committee, which was composed of Tony Bantados, Raul Bulaong, Rico Villarin and Jopay Pelayo.
The proceeds of the tournament go to a school feeding program run by the lodge in the Cagayan and Isabela provinces of the Philippines, as well as other charitable projects of the lodge in Manitoba.
