Manitoba Mutts Dog Rescue Inc. is a 100 per cent foster-home based, not-for-profit, charitable rescue with a mission to relieve animals in distress and animal suffering from overpopulation and/or abandonment, provide for the care, maintenance and rehabilitation of stray, abandoned and displaced animals in Manitoba and be a leader on matters that promote and improve the welfare of all animals through enhancement, protection, care and education.

Every two weeks, Manitoba Mutts highlights two of its animals available for adoption.

I’m Darcy, from the WandaVision litter. We are an adorable bunch of fluffs. We were born in care but our mom is feral so it’s taking a bit longer to get used to our foster humans. I’ve got some pretty cool markings and I am the scaredy-cat of the litter. I tend to hide in the background and not seek out attention but I think that will change once I no longer have my siblings to hide behind.

I am fully litter-trained and am learning to scratch on appropriate things. I have been introduced to some dogs, and I despise them. I growl and hiss and run away when they are in the same room as me, and really freak out when they come too close. I might learn to like them, but I can’t promise anything…

I haven’t met any cats other then my siblings. I haven’t met any small humans but I tend to get scared with fast movements and being handled so I may not be the best fit for kids under 10.

Hi. I’m Dundas. I’m a spunky, easygoing boy who loves playing with my sister and getting belly rubs. I do like my foster mom but it takes me a few minutes to remember that when she comes home. But once I remember, I go in for the snuggles! I’m also fully litter-trained.

I love playing with my sister and am very curious about my foster mom’s older cat – but she’s not so sure about me. I am a sweet boy who would love to keep you company.
