Hi. I’m Kassie and I’m a loving and easygoing girl who likes to go for long walks and be by your side.
I am 99 per cent house-trained and fully crate-trained. I am good with adult women but haven’t been introduced to cats, kids or other dogs yet. Because of this, I would prefer a home where I can be the queen of the castle, with no other animals or small children.
I don’t like masculine voices or big dogs when I see them on my walks. Big dogs picked on me before I was rescued by the amazing people at MMDR. My foster moms have been supporting me to expand my comfort zone and so far I have mastered going up and down stairs, walking on a leash, coming when my name is called, going for car rides, and adjusting to a feeding and potty routine. I am very polite and love to have my ears scratched. If you forget to pet me, I will remind you.
On our walks, I like to smell everything and track bunnies or squirrels. I don’t pull on my leash and I listen to my foster mom if we need to change direction. I don’t bark but you will hear some noises from me if I need something.
I am warm-hearted and ready to try new things. I will keep you company and show you all my favourite toys. I chew the bones my foster mom gives me and I have never destroyed anything in the house or car.
