The North Winnipeg Nomads recently honoured two of its coaches with Nomad for Life awards.

The football club held its end of season banquets on Nov. 8 and Nov. 15 at Canad Inns Garden City. Receiving Nomad for Life awards were retiring bantam coach Dan Noordman and major program founder Dennis Radlinsky. Radlinsky recently resigned from his position as head coach of the Nomads major football team, but will stay with the club in a smaller capacity.

“These are two outstanding community members who have given countless hours to making the North End of Winnipeg a better place through football and preaching the family and community aspect,” said Nomads president Jeffrey Bannon in an email.
