A high school class that has kept in touch since graduation 40 years ago will be gathering for a special reunion this year.

Sharon Boonov and Rick Romsa are two of the St. John’s High School Class of 1977 who are organizing the 40th reunion celebration for the class on June 16. Both hold cherished memories of the time they spent at St. John’s.

“It was like family coming in there. And that sense of family sort of stayed as part of St. John’s. Being St. John’s alumni puts that sense of family in you I think, moreso than a lot of other schools,” said Bonoov, who enrolled at St. John’s in Grade 10.
