The DeMolay International society was founded by ‘Dad’ Frank S. Land in March 24, 1919, in Kansas City, Mo. It is an international fraternal organization for young men ages 12 to 21 and was named for Jacques de Molay, the last Grand Master of the Knights Templar. Senior DeMolays are former members over the age of 21, known as ‘Dads’.

By long standing tradition, the founding day of the order is celebrated on March 18, the day when Jacques de Molay was burned at the stake in 1314.

Manitoba Senior DeMolay members present at the gathering were Gilson, Relly, Adrian, Nhono, King, Atlee, Michael, Marius, and Arnel.

They group was founded in 2017 and its members come from chapters in the Phillipines and Manitoba.
