CAA recognizes school patrol programs

CAA Manitoba honoured the students and supervisors of schools across the province at the Winnipeg Police Service and Brandon-area CAA School Safety Patrol Awards, recognizing their service and dedication over the past school year. The Winnipeg School Safety Patrols received their awards on May 30. 
Seven Oaks School Division’s James Nisbet Community School (right) and Winnipeg School Division’s Prairie Rose Elementary School (middle) were two of 11 schools that received the award. Inkster School student Alijha Krahn (left) also won the Louise Staples Award.
“CAA is proud of all our CAA School Safety Patrols and supervisors in Manitoba, and admire their dedication to safety, rain or shine,” said CAA Manitoba president Tim Scott. “Their moves help keep their communities safe, and now those moves are part of a new dance that they can show off to friends and family.”
