Celebrating recreation at Tyndall Park

On Oct. 22, Point Douglas city ward city councillor Mike Pagtakhan joined Tyndall Park Community Centre staff members to unveil a new mural that celebrates the activities that take place at the community centre. The mural was done by local artist Maesie Santos.
Tyndall Park Community Centre is a hub of activity within the community, a release said. It offers several of programs including Punjabi dance classes, Zumba, baseball, basketball, hockey, and soccer. The mural was jointly funded by the City of Winnipeg and the Tyndall Park Community Centre for a total project cost of $7,000.
