Eagle and Hawk to join WSO as part of Canada Day at The Forks

The Forks and Manitoba Music have announced the entertainment lineup for the annual Canada Day at The Forks celebrations, to be held Mon., July 1.

The Forks and Manitoba Music have announced the entertainment lineup for the annual Canada Day at The Forks celebrations, to be held Mon., July 1.

Juno Award-winning Indigenous rock band Eagle & Hawk will cap off the day’s entertainment at the CN Stage & Field by performing with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra just before fireworks at 11 p.m.

The full CN Stage & Field lineup is:

•  7 p.m. — Amadians;

• 8 p.m. — Madeleine Roger;

• 9 p.m. — Bullrider;

• 10 p.m. — Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra;

• 10:45 p.m. — Eagle & Hawk with the WSO.

 

Artists performing at the Canopy Stage are:

• 1:30 p.m. — The Noble Thiefs;

•  2:30 p.m. — Darryl Buck;

•  3:30 p.m. — Trampoline;

•  4:30 p.m. — Sweet Alibi;

•  5:30 p.m. — Kendra Kay;

•  6:30 p.m. — Little Miss Higgins;

•  7:30 p.m. — Malcolm-Jay;

•  8:30 p.m. — Hellnback

 

Double the Trouble and Two Crows for Comfort will also perform two acoustic pop-up shows each during the day.

In addition, the Exchange District BIZ is hosting a stage at Stephen Juba Park, featuring:

•  Noon — Rhianna Rae Saj;

•  1 p.m. — JC Campbell;

•  2 p.m. — Leaf Rapids;

•  3 p.m. — Liam Duncan.
