NorWest Co-op has made it to the 2018 Aon Best Employers in Canada study. This is the second consecutive year that the community health centre is recognized as a Platinum Level Aon Best Small & Medium Employer and a leader in workplace excellence.

NorWest scored 93 per cent in Aon’s engagement survey, indicating a strong performance on employee engagement, leadership, performance culture, and employment brand. NorWest is part of a distinguished group among 31 large organizations (more than 400 employees) and 32 small and medium-sized enterprises (between 50 and 399 employees) to be recognized by this year’s Aon’s study. Across Canada, NorWest is one of two health care organizations recognized by the study.
The study provides an in-depth view of employee and leader opinions. This review is the premier benchmark for assessing the quality of Canadian and global workplaces. It’s based on more than 20 years of learnings and best practices from Aon studies conducted all over the world, relying on data collected in more than 150 markets from over 9,000 organizations in 68 industries, including more than 734,000 workers and more than 500 companies of all sizes in Canada.
“This accomplishment demonstrates our strong workplace culture, especially during a time of uncertainty in health care in our province,” said Nancy Heinrichs, executive director of NorWest. “Our team continues to make a difference in the lives of our clients and community, and we are incredibly proud of them for making NorWest one of the top organizations to work for in Canada.”
