Good morning!

Your forecast: Familiar with the old local adage ‘If you don’t like the weather in Winnipeg, wait a minute’? Well, it actually took a full day for the weekend forecast to improve – a little. Initially, there was nothing but showers projected for September Long, beginning Friday. Now, however, Environment Canada is suggesting there could be a bit of sun peeking through Friday morning, with heavy showers expected in the afternoon. The daytime high is 29 C. Saturday’s forecast has definitely improved, with a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 28 C expected. But showers are still anticipated for Sunday and the holiday Monday. Let’s hope for a rosier picture when we check back in another 24 hours. By the way, we’re in for another scorcher today, with a high of 32 C.
