Today, expect the sky to clear, the wind to pick up to 50 km/h at times and the daytime high temperature to hit just -12 C. By the way, factor in a wind chill of -26. Tonight, the temperature falls to -22 C. Tuesday’s daytime high is just -19 C with periods of snow and a steady breeze.

Woman’s death a homicide: Winnipeg police say the death of Mavis Ducharme, 39, is being investigated as a homicide. Ducharme died in hospital after being assaulted early Saturday morning at a home in the 500 block of Stella Avenue.
