More indigenous graduates: Winnipeg post-secondary institutions are graduating a growing number of indigenous graduates. The University of Manitoba celebrated 430 indigenous grads at the Fort Garry campus on Saturday. Last spring, 358 graduated. Jon Gerrard may run: Manitoba Liberal MLA Jon Gerrard is considering running for the party’s leadership. The Liberals held their annual general meeting in Brandon on the weekend. Gerrard served as the party’s leader from 1998 to 2013. Rana Bokhari took over the party reins for Gerrard but stepped down after losing the 2016 Manitoba election. READ MORE
