Homicides at halfway point: Winnipeg’s homicide victims are skewing younger. In the first half of 2017, only two of the 13 victims were older than 40. In the same period last year, eight of the 13 victims were older than 40. So far this year, four youths have been charged in city homicides, while none were charged last year.
