Power over pot: Manitoba municipalities are being given the responsibility to prohibit legal sales of cannabis, just as they get the final say on Sunday shopping. Meanwhile, successful bidders for retail outlets will have to serve multiple locations, the province announced. READ MORE

No appeal: The Crown has decided not to appeal the acquittal of Mark Grant, charged with killing teenager Candace Derksen in 1984.
