TREVOR HAGAN / WINNIPEG FRESSIt appears as though the rooming house known as “Murder Mansion” is going to be demolished, Sunday, February 11, 2018.

Murder Mansion burns: A fire broke out early this morning at a boarded-up rooming house known as Murder Mansion that’s slated for demolition. The blaze at the building, located at the intersection of Balmoral Street and Cumberland Avenue, is a suspected arson, and traffic is blocked off on Balmoral between Cumberland and Notre Dame avenues and on Cumberland between Spence and Balmoral streets.

Assault on Agnes Street: Police are investigating at the scene of a serious assault that took place on Agnes Street Wednesday night. One man is in hospital in critical condition this morning, and no arrests have been made.
