Charleswood crash: A stretch of westbound Grant Avenue between Cathcart Street and Elmhurst Road is shut down this morning after a two-vehicle crash involving a car and a dump truck. Earlier this morning, police said there was no word yet on how long the stretch of Grant will be closed.

Homicide sentencing hearing: A sentencing hearing resumes today for an 18-year-old woman who has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder. The victim, Serena McKay, died of hypothermia after being badly beaten on Sagkeeng First Nation in April 2017. READ MORE

Prentice plane crash: The Transportation Safety Board will release its report into the plane crash that killed former Alberta premier Jim Prentice. Three other people were killed in the crash near Kelowna in 2016.

Series schedule: The NHL released the schedule for the second-round playoff series between the Jets and the Nashville Predators last night. Earlier Wednesday, the Jets announced they will be opening up Bell MTS Place for fan viewing parties for the first two road games of the series.
