Federal election: Mark Carney’s Liberals will form government

Good evening. Canadians have handed the Liberals a fourth mandate, with Prime Minister Mark Carney to lead Canada through an economic crisis triggered by U.S. President Donald Trump.

Ballots are still being counted and it’s not yet known whether the Liberals will lead a majority or minority government.
