In today’s edition:

⛈️ Thirty communities have declared states of local emergency following relentless rainstorms that have prompted evacuations.

🌎 The West End Biz is resuming its annual Around the World in a Few Blocks, which sees tour groups visit restaurants in the area every Thursday at 6 p.m.

🍗 July 1 marked the first day Manitoba removed its seven per cent PST from a range of grocery-store foods, including chips, rotisserie chickens, baked goods and other prepared items.
