Pandemic rules expire: Masks are no longer required in most indoor public places, and people with COVID-19 are no longer required to isolate, as the last of the province’s pandemic health orders have been lifted. READ MORE

On March 15, 1932: The Winnipeg Free Press reported the worldwide search for the kidnapped baby of famed aviator Charles Lindbergh had shifted to Western Canada. A mysterious letter mailed from Winnipeg to a U.S. marshall in Vermont claimed the baby was abducted from New Jersey by a gang of criminals headquartered in Moose Jaw.
