Free Press Head Start for April 28

Good morning.

The first Winnipeg Jets team played their final game — a playoff loss to the Detroit Red Wings at the Winnipeg Arena — 25 years ago today.

After Tuesday’s lovely weather, it will be cooler than the average for today’s date, and there is a chance of rain.

The Arlington Bridge will be closed to southbound vehicle traffic from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. as crews do maintenance work.
