Pushing for ‘open streets’: Members of multiple residents associations will lobby city council to limit vehicle traffic on two streets seven days a week instead of on Sundays and holidays only. Indigenous inoculation sites: Vaccinations will be offered at the sites of two Indigenous-led community organizations in Winnipeg, including on a walk-in basis, beginning today. They are located at the Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre site at 363 McGregor St. and at the Aboriginal Health and Wellness Centre, 181 Higgins Ave. Provincial NDP Leader Wab Kinew and former cabinet minister Kevin Chief will be inoculated at the respective sites this morning.
