Former U.S. president Donald Trump, who is facing a slew of legal troubles, and whose Mar-a-Lago estate was searched by the FBI Tuesday, will be questioned under oath today as part of the New York attorney general’s long-running civil investigation into his dealings as a real estate mogul.

On Aug. 10, 1932: The Winnipeg Free Press reported that at the imperial trade conference in Ottawa, Canada’s response to Great Britain’s request for concessions on iron and steel exports would be to remain firm in not granting further changes. The tense state of negotiations was thought to be the gravest crisis of Canadian prime minister R.B. Bennett’s career.
