Wall honours slain women: A memorial wall to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Montreal Massacre, where a gunman killed 14 women at École Polytechnique, will be unveiled at the University of Manitoba this morning. Events are also taking place at the Montreal school’s campus. READ MORE

Suspected rapists shot dead: Hundreds gathered to celebrate in a town in India after police fatally shot four suspects in the rape and murder of a veterinarian. Police said the men, who had not been charged, seized officers’ weapons after being taken to the site of the killing. READ MORE
