Sexual harassment: With the provincial NDP reeling over sexual harassment allegations against former cabinet minister Stan Struthers, Premier Brian Pallister confided Wednesday that two unrelated sexual misconduct complaints have made their way to his desk since the Progressive Conservatives were elected to government in April 2016. Both complaints were dealt with to the complainants’ satisfaction, he said, refusing to disclose more details other than they were from two individuals who were either civil servants or political staff. Traffic light sought: Folks who live near the crosswalk on St. Anne’s Road where an eight-year-old boy was struck and killed by a truck on Tuesday are calling for a traffic light to be installed at the intersection. Brian Mayes, the area’s city councillor, said he will ask city staff — for the second time in six years — to study whether a traffic light can be installed there. READ MORE
