Cities shuttered: China has shut down three cities with a total population of more than 18 million in an effort to contain a new viral illness that has sickened more than 500 people and killed 17. After delaying their decision until today, the World Health Organization is expected to announce whether the outbreak should be declared a global health crisis. The Associated Press reports. Actress to testify: Annabella Sciorra is expected to testify at Harvey Weinstein’s rape trial in New York. Weinstein is charged with sexually assaulting two other women, but this would be the first confrontation between the former Hollywood mogul and one of his accusers at the trial. READ MORE
