Good morning.

“This a moment to celebrate.” That’s what Thomas, a gay Roman Catholic in Winnipeg, said about a document released by the Vatican last month that allows blessings for same-sex couples. John Longhurst has the story.

Tactical officers raided a notorious drug house in the West End neighbourhood Saturday night, marking the second time in less than two months city police have targeted the home. Tyler Searle reports.

His desire to make a positive impact is one of the reasons he’s a blood donor. If all goes well, he’ll make his 60th donation at Canadian Blood Services this year. Aaron Epp has the story.
