On July 3, 1922: The Manitoba Free Press reported that a 49-year-old Winnipeg man had been arrested and would be charged with murder, after a man he had allegedly assaulted died in hospital. The victim had been stabbed from behind; witnesses said there had been a longstanding feud between the victim and the accused. In Westminster in Great Britain, the Canadian colours were presented to adorn the monument of General Wolfe. READ MORE
