Good morning.

Tonight’s main Lotto Max jackpot is $70 million — the maximum permitted. There are also a record 58 Maxmillions prizes of $1 million each up for grabs.

With the Montreal Canadiens opening their semifinal series against the Vegas Golden Knights last night, Winnipeg Jets fans have a few options. Some are rooting against the Canadiens because they eliminated the Jets in the second round of the NHL playoffs. Some are cheering for the lone Canadian team remaining. Others are ignoring the rest of the playoffs. Regardless, the Knights were the better team last night.

The Assiniboine Park Zoo will reopen to the public today after closing five weeks ago.
