The Winnipeg Jets will play their first game since they won in triple overtime to sweep their first-round playoff series in the wee hours of May 25. With a 6:30 p.m. start, fans won’t have to stay up so late and contemplate calling in sick.

Sioux Valley Dakota Nation says 104 Indigenous children are likely buried in unmarked graves in Brandon. The band is planning to hold a news conference today to detail its findings and research plans.

A heat warning has been issued for Winnipeg. High temperatures of at least 30 C are forecast through Saturday.

The Manitoba government is scheduled to hold its regular Wednesday COVID-19 news conference, which is usually about vaccines. A spokesman for the government confirmed Tuesday that it has given up its claim to 23,000 AstraZeneca doses.
