Good morning.

Rain began falling early today as thunder boomed, and a severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for Winnipeg.

No one won the $70-million main Lotto Max jackpot — the maximum permitted — in last night’s draw. Friday’s draw will again include 50 Maxmillion prizes of $1 million each.

Winnipeg Jets players will give end-of-season interviews to sports reporters this morning. Mike McIntyre has a column on parting words the team should have for its players.
