Trustees to vote tonight: Winnipeg School Division trustees will meet to vote on the 2019-20 budget. The WSD has said it’s considering a 2.9 per cent property tax increase, and the education minister later warned any school divisions that go over a suggested two per cent cap will be subject to extra cutbacks.

In Manitoba, Liberal MLAs made an unsuccessful bid to censure former attorney general Sterling Lyon and force his resignation.
