Consulting fees criticized: According to documents obtained through freedom of information legislation, former B.C. premier Gordon Campbell received nearly $600,000 in consulting fees for about five months’ work as head of a commission examining Manitoba Hydro megaprojects before stepping down in February 2019. Super Tuesday: U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden saw a boost in support as 14 states held primaries on Tuesday, with his candidacy collecting hundreds of delegates. Rival Bernie Sanders also showed strong results in states such as California, where the projections show his campaign winning the most delegates. Elizabeth Warren was a distant third in number of delegates, including in her home state of Massachusetts, and Michael Bloomberg’s poor showing reportedly has him reconsidering the future of his campaign.
