Jets get knighted: The Vegas Golden Knights tied the Western Conference Final 1-1 with a win over the Jets in Winnipeg last night. Jets captain Blake Wheeler says three minutes of poor play cost the team. “They could have scored four goals in three minutes,” he says. Talking change: Children’s Hospital will announce “change,” apparently involving cardiology, at a morning news conference. Provincial Health Minister will be among those at the announcement.
Road closure: Sherbrook Street is closed to traffic between Ross and Logan avenues this morning. The Winnipeg Police Service said shortly after 5:15 a.m. that officers have blocked off the area, but the WPS has yet to say why.
