Probe a year old: U.S. President Donald Trump tweeted this morning about the anniversary of former FBI director Robert Mueller being appointed as special counsel to investigate possible co-ordination between Russia and his 2016 campaign. “Congratulations America, we are now into the second year of the greatest witch hunt in American history,” Trump wrote.

On May 17, 1982: The Winnipeg Free Press reported that a Canadian Forces private resented the fact he was not permitted leave from where he was stationed in Alberta in time to attend the birth of his first child in Winnipeg.
