Return a relief: Reporter-at-large Melissa Martin was in Oxford House Saturday as Christine Wood was laid to rest in her home community. Wood, 21, was slain in August, and her body was found in a field outside Winnipeg earlier this month. The isolated First Nation has been forever changed by Wood’s killing, Martin writes, but at least she is finally home. READ MORE

Grade 12 students Caleb Turon and Matthew Hewlett have developed a prototype of experimental eyeglasses for vision-impaired people that indicate the proximity of objects. Consecutive cups: The Pittsburgh Penguins hoisted the Stanley Cup on Sunday night, shutting out the Predators in Nashville in the only road win of the series by either team.
