Learning about language: A research project aimed at reclaiming the Rocky Cree language is being launched today at the University of Winnipeg. The project — Six Seasons of the Asiniskow Ithiniwak: Reclamation, Regeneration, and Reconciliation — is based on the remains of a Cree woman who lived 350 years ago. Her remains were found in 1993.
