Ousted ambassador: Public impeachment hearings for U.S. President Donald Trump resume this morning. Bowman on budget cuts: Mayor Brian Bowman will give the keynote address at a Manitoba Heavy Construction Association breakfast. Afterward, he’ll face questions about the budget cuts that have been revealed this week, among other issues. Good chemistry: Patrik Laine and Mark Scheifele had three points each as the Jets beat the Panthers in Florida. Jets head coach Paul Maurice said he likes the chemistry developing between Laine, Scheifele and linemate Kyle Connor. “They’ve been close to that for a couple of games,” he said of their play last night. “We’ve liked them, and now they’re starting to get into a rhythm.” Jason Bell reports.
