Free Press Head Start for Nov. 16

Good morning.

Snow and rain are forecast for Winnipeg, so… good luck out there. City crews are expected to begin clearing sidewalks in residential areas today.

Rescue crews will today begin searching for people who might have been trapped in debris from mudslides on a British Columbia highway. Nearly 300 people were transported from a slide site in helicopters.

Jurors are set to begin deliberations this morning in Kyle Rittenhouse’s trial for shooting three men — two fatally — during protests that erupted after a Black man was shot by police in Wisconsin.
