Radio host resigns: The host of a radio show who was suspended for airing an interview with a conspiracy theorist who made anti-Semitic claims has resigned from the station’s board of directors. CKUW, which is partly funded by student fees transferred from the University of Winnipeg Students’ Association, says it’s possible April Cherpaw may return if she meets “specific conditions.” Ryan Thorpe reports. Caisses closing: Eight caisses populaires bank branches in tiny southern Manitoba communities are closing, and there are no ATMs for customers to continue banking.
