RIP Chris: The most popular story on the Free Press website is the death of TV star Chris Hyndman, 49, best known for the daily CBC lifestyle series “Steven and Chris” with his fellow decorator and husband Steven Sabados. His body was found in a Toronto alley after 11 p.m. on Monday. Still no word how he died. His family might wish to keep his cause of death private, which certainly is their right, but it’s natural for the public to feel curious about the death of a man who appeared healthy and happy when he was beamed by TV into the intimacy of our living rooms. Marijuana controversy: If Glenn Price operated his business in Vancouver instead of Winnipeg, he wouldn’t have been jailed on Tuesday. Price, the owner of Your Medical Cannabis Headquarters on Main Street, was arrested in a police raid because he didn’t have a federal licence. But dozens of dispensaries like Price’s operate in cities like Vancouver without federal licences and police look the other way. What do you think?
