Good morning!
Your forecast: Peer out the window and you’ll see snow falling early this morning. Glance out again around 11 a.m. and it’ll still be coming down. The view by mid-afternoon will be much the same, and this evening… well, you get the picture. Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning today for Winnipeg, with a weather system from the south bringing between 10-20 centimetres of the white stuff to the Red River Valley, the Interlake, Whiteshell and Bissett regions. Wind gusts tonight combined with the fresh snow could produce blowing snow and reduced visibility for highway driving. The temperature today will be steady at – 6 C, dropping to -10 C overnight. On Thursday, expect blowing snow and a temperature of just -12 C, while Friday will be sunny and a bitter -16 C.
