Have your say before election day
|
|
We are 160 days away from the civic election that will determine who sits next in the mayor’s chair and our 15 council seats.
That means there’s plenty of time for candidates to file their nomination papers, for campaigning and door-knocking — and for our newsroom to start planning how to cover the campaign before the Oct. 28 vote.
As part of our election planning exercise, we want to hear from our readers on what they want to see in our coverage.
Tell us what civic issues matter to you. Let us know what you want from that next city council. Share your hopes and even your fears.
The form here should take less than 160 seconds to fill out, and will help shape the campaign-related stories you will read over the next 160 days.

Fresh off her National Golf Invitational win, Winnipeg’s own Addison Kartusch is set to play in her first pro event as an amateur before returning to Bowling Green State University in the fall. Ken Wiebe catches up with the rising amateur golf star.
Over on the gridiron, the newest members of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers have their first shot at making a case to stay on the roster as the Blue and Gold travel to Saskatoon Saturday to take on the Saskatchewan Roughriders in pre-season play.
