We’re back with the Scoop, to keep you in the loop.

First, a little pre-boarding announcement: The Winnipeg Jets got off to a scorching start last night running the Edmonton Oilers out of their own building with a dominating 6-0 victory. Sportswriter Mike McIntyre was in the press box at Rogers Place and you can read his story on the game here.

On Jets game days, Mike and fellow hockey writer Ken Wiebe write a free newsletter that includes news, notes and quotes from the morning skate as well as injury updates and lineup decisions. It arrives in inboxes a few hours before the puck drops. Try it out by reading yesterday’s issue here and sign up on that page if you’re interested!
