The Wrap: 16th fatality, voting technology, Zara and missing submersible

Good evening. Here’s a look at stories making headlines today:

RCMP said a woman died of her injuries sustained in the crash on June 15 involving a minibus and tractor-trailer at highways 1 and 5. Fifteen victims died on the day of the fiery crash.

New technology being used by Elections Manitoba will allow candidates and parties in the upcoming provincial general election to see in real-time whether someone has made their way to the polls on Oct. 3.

International fashion retailer Zara is opening a store in Winnipeg.

And the daunting search and rescue effort for a submersible in the North Atlantic is bringing experts and specialized underwater equipment together by land, by air and by sea to find it before its oxygen runs out. The Titan vanished earlier this week in the North Atlantic while taking five people down to the wreck of the Titanic.
